Championships for Mavericks
The Winston-Salem Mavericks 16U and 11U AAU Basketball Teams have won the Tournament of Champions. Held June 1 at Northeast Guilford High School in McLeansville, the tournament pitted the Mavs against the Kernersville Mavericks, whom they narrowly defeated, 72-71.
